Hiking the High Sierra Trail

 The High Sierra Trail is the little brother to the John Muir Trail.  It starts at Crescent Meadow on the western Sierra, and ends on top of Mt Whitney after meeting up with the John Muir Trail.  This 72 mile  trail is stunning, and is an excellent alternative to those who can't get 3 weeks off to do the JMT.
